Peek Preview of Protec in the Den

protec covers_dragons_entrance

Well here's a photo, taken from a screenshot of last week's Dragon's Den, of our two directors looking much more serious than they usually are.  They said that it was one of the most nerve racking things that they've ever done but they started to become much more relaxed as the show went on.

The show was originally pencilled in to go out last night (4th Nov) but was replaced by Andrew Marr's Obama-What Happened to Hope? for the opcoming American elections and followed by Space Dive.  Both were extremely interesting but it means that we have to wait another week till we're on.  Who would have thought it,  the President of the USA getting priority over ProTec's world class caravan covers.   Even we can't protect against that!!

Anyway, not long to go now, we're definitely on BBC2 at 9PM on The Dragon's Den

Happy Halloween

The Original Tailored Car Cover Company

Phew, just a quick note to let you know what we're up to. We've just finished the most successful show we've ever done in over 15 years manufacturing caravan and motorhome covers. The Motorhome and Caravan show at the NEC was an absolute triumph and the orders just keep rolling in.  We are doing our upmost to get the huge demand out to you ASAP though our waiting list is getting longer and longer.  If your not ordering this year due to the lead time then remember to beat the rush next year and try to get your orders in well before the winter.

Apologies to those who need their covers more urgently but demand is always immense at this time of year and this year even more than ever. We're afraid we don't offer an leap frog service as we feel that all of our clients orders are equally important and nobody likes somebody who jumps the queue. it's just not cricket.

We're sure that you now know we will be on the BBC on Dragons' Den on the 11th of November so don't forget to tune in and see Protec Covers in the Den on BBC2 at 9PM.

And if that wasn't enough our company directors, husband and wife team, Anne and Keith Proctor, just don't stop.  We're revving up for the NEC Classic Motor Show on the 16th-18th of November!!! Anne and Keith have joined forces with Covercraft to manufacture prestige car covers and bike covers here in the UK. Choose from a wide range of fabrics including the Covercraft exclusive, Weather Shield. With a huge database going back to 1890, Covercraft of Europe have got you covered. Visit us on stand 17T287

We've just got a call from the Beeb to let us know that there's been a change to the schedule so instead of the 4th it will be the 11th of November, so we'll have to wait to see Protec Covers on the Dragons' Den even longer.  So just to clarify that BB2, 9PM November 11th

A Fantastic Motorhome & Caravan Show 2012

easy fit_exclusive2We're still trying to recover from the fantastic Motorhome and Caravan Show last week but boy was it worth it! After 15 years manufacturing caravan and motorhome covers we have just smashed all show sales records. A huge amount of fantastic feed back converted into orders.

The star of the show was the Exclusive Easy Fit System Everybody agrees that this innovative system makes it so easy to get the cover on, making Protec Covers yet again the premier protective cover manufacturer.

Now we just need to get our heads down and get the covers out of the door!! Thanks again to everyone at the show for making us so proud to do what we do.  Don't forget to tune in on Sunday the 4th of November at 9.00PM on BBC2.
